Hi, I’m Shahram Najafi, a freelance WordPress developer and performance specialist. For over 12 years I’ve been building fast, secure WordPress sites, custom themes and plugins for clients, and I write practical guides to running WordPress the right way.
What I do
- Performance: making WordPress sites fast, measured with Core Web Vitals and real before-and-after numbers.
- Theme and plugin development: lightweight, modern code with no page builders and no bloat. This site runs on a theme I built from scratch that scores 100 on Lighthouse.
- Technical SEO: structured data, clean site architecture and indexing, so search engines and AI assistants understand a site.
- WordPress and AI: putting the AI features in WordPress 7 to work safely, from Connectors to the Abilities API.
How I work
Every recommendation I make comes with a reason. I test on a current WordPress version before I write about it, I say when popular advice doesn’t hold up, and I’d rather ship one solid solution than add ten plugins.
Background
I’ve worked as a freelance developer for more than 12 years, building custom WordPress themes, plugins and tutorial platforms. I also founded Avayweb, a Persian-language web development tutorial site, so explaining technical topics clearly has been part of my work for years.
